CHICAGO - After more than two decades as one of Jefferson Park’s familiar neighborhood festivals, Jeff Fest is getting a new identity.

This summer, the longtime Northwest Side event is being reintroduced as Chicago Italian Beef Fest, a three-day celebration built around one of Chicago’s most iconic foods: the Italian beef sandwich.

The festival runs Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Park, located at 4822 N. Long Avenue. The rebrand gives the event a clearer Chicago food identity while still keeping the live music, family activities, vendors, and neighborhood atmosphere that made the original festival a local tradition.

What to Know About Chicago Italian Beef Fest

The new Chicago Italian Beef Fest will take place over three days:

Friday, July 31: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, August 1: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, August 2: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per day, and children 17 and under are free when accompanied by a paid parent or guardian.

The event will feature 8+ Italian beef vendors, live entertainment on two stages, a large kids area, crafters, exhibitors, food vendors, and a community-focused festival setting in the heart of Jefferson Park.
