Riot Fest Offers Free 3-Day Tickets and Local Jobs to Douglass Park Neighbors
CHICAGO—Residents living near Douglass Park have an opportunity to register for free three-day Riot Fest passes and apply for local festival jobs during a community event in Little Village.
The ticket registration and hiring event takes place Thursday, August 6, 2026, ahead of Riot Fest’s return to Douglass Park from September 18 through September 20.
Free Riot Fest Ticket Registration Takes Place August 6
The community event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at 3724 W. 26th Street in Little Village.
Residents who meet the geographic requirements can register for free admission to the full three-day festival. The program is designed for people living in communities immediately surrounding Douglass Park, including parts of North Lawndale and Little Village.
To qualify, residents must live within the following boundaries:
West Arthington Street to the north
Central Park Avenue to the west
West 24th Street to the south
Western Avenue to the east
Residents should confirm that their current address falls within the designated area before attending.
What Residents Need to Bring
Eligible residents must attend the registration event with three documents:
One photo ID, such as:
Driver’s license
State-issued identification
Passport
Chicago CityKey ID
The address on the photo ID does not need to match the resident’s current address.
Residents must also present two forms of proof of residency clearly showing their name and current address. Accepted documents include:
Official mail dated within the past 30 days
Recent bank statement
Utility bill
Insurance card
Pay stub
Current lease
Bringing the correct documents is important because residents who cannot verify their identity and address may be unable to complete registration.
Local Riot Fest Jobs Are Also Available
The August 6 event also includes a local hiring component for residents interested in working during the festival.

Event setup and teardown
Information services
Gate attendants
Grounds maintenance
Sanitation and trash removal

On-call festival staff
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to stand for a minimum of eight hours, and prepared to work outdoors. Specific shifts, pay rates, hiring requirements, and schedules may vary by position.
Riot Fest Returns September 18-20
Riot Fest 2026 will bring more than 100 artists to Douglass Park across three days and multiple stages.

Tool on Saturday, September 19
Pierce the Veil on Sunday, September 20
Other scheduled performers include Iggy Pop, Rise Against, Pixies, Alkaline Trio, Morrissey, Nas, Social Distortion, Alanis Morissette, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Patti Smith and Her Band, and Taking Back Sunday.
The festival has released its daily artist lineup, but individual performance times and stage assignments may be announced closer to the event.

For people who do not qualify for the neighborhood ticket program, Riot Fest offers single-day and three-day passes.
