The Obama Presidential Center has been years in the making and is expected to become one of the city’s most significant cultural destinations.

Located in Jackson Park, the campus will include museum spaces, public areas and programming focused on leadership, history and community engagement tied to former President Barack Obama.

Beyond tourism, the project is also seen as a major investment in the South Side, bringing new activity, visitors and long-term economic impact to the area.
