CHICAGO, IL — One of Chicago’s most recognizable attractions is celebrating a major milestone this week, and visitors can take advantage of discounted rides, food specials, and limited-time offers throughout one of the city’s most popular destinations.
The iconic Centennial Wheel is officially turning 10 years old, and to mark the occasion, Navy Pier is hosting a full-day anniversary celebration featuring $10 wheel rides, discounted parking, and themed promotions throughout the Pier.
The celebration takes place on Wednesday, May 27, giving both Chicago residents and visitors another reason to head toward the lakefront as summer activity begins ramping up across the city.
Navy Pier Celebrates a Decade of the Centennial Wheel
Since opening in 2016 during Navy Pier's centennial celebration, the Centennial Wheel has become one of the most recognizable features of Chicago’s skyline and waterfront experience.
Standing nearly 200 feet above Navy Pier, the attraction provides panoramic views of Downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan, becoming a favorite destination for tourists, families and locals alike.
Now, ten years later, Navy Pier is celebrating the attraction with anniversary promotions built around the number 10.

The biggest promotion of the day will be $10 Centennial Wheel rides available all day long, giving guests an affordable opportunity to experience one of Chicago’s most iconic attractions.
Visitors arriving early can also receive $10 parking for the first 110 vehicles in the West Garage.
